AMD Graphics Cards & Processors

I am currently in the market for new processors & graphics cards. I currently have AMD components, & want to keep going with AMD, but I've heard about them catching fire. Is this true, & if not, should I stick to AMD or switch to Nvidia?

I'd wait a moment before deciding on the CPU. Kaby Lake (Intel's next gen) is just around the corner, as is Ryzen (AMD's next gen).

As for graphics, I think I'd suggest going Nvidia for now.
