An Unarmed Slayer.

Do the critical bonuses, applied when using specific martial arts techniques, come on top of the critical hit chance you have once you have the Slayer perk?

So with 7 luck, your Slayer perk at level 24 would turn your critical hit chance to 70%, would a punch that gives +40% critical hit chance make your total critical hit chance 110%? Or Does Slayer negate all bonuses like it negates Finesse.

Also, does Slayer negate the More Criticals perk entirely?

I see guides saying pick More Criticals at this level, and another rank at that level, and then says to pick Sniper or Slayer perks at level24.. bad info? Never pick Better Criticals, never pick Finesse?

(I'm sorry for the many questions, I'm starting to play at this moment and just love the feel of the game, I'd like to get the most fun out of it before I seriously start playing.

Is the Skilled trait a good choice along with the Gifted trait if you plan on playing way past the game end? Or should I pick Gifted along with One Hander as a pure martial artist?

I'm having issues picking a good trait along with Gifted.. I guess using a power fist to activate the One Hander trait bonus + kicks to knock them back would be efficient?

No, you can't get more criticallyish than "always". Read the perk description.

Pretty much. Unless you switch to ranged.

Suboptimal maybe, but hardly catastrophic. People who don't care for playing out every little quest can probably finish the game well before getting Sniper or Slayer.

Better Criticals is a must. Finesse is fine, just don't have it and Sniper/Slayer at the same time. (Use Mutate!)

No.

Sounds fine. Small Frame also works. Some feel Gifted is a bit overpowered though.

Moved to Gameplay.

Skilled trait is imo total sh*t

Gifted take 5 points less than normal character per level + Skilled can take perk every 4. level (not 3)

Gifted + Skilled perk is deadly combo to your character

I have mostly used Gifted + Small Frame (+1 Agility), and fight too with this character (F1 raider leader, F2 boxing ring and in San Fran too- optimum is unarmed 130% and higher)
