Animated FRM on the main menu

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
A little while ago I had a great idea, I thought wouldn't it be nice to have an animated FRM as the main menu's back ground image!

So I made up a new animated FRM and tried it out - to no avail! I tried adjusting the FRMs frame rate, still no joy.

My guese is that the engine as not been set up to play an animated FRM on the main menu, I know it would slow down the PC having to load a larger file but it wouldnt be a problem for today's computers.

Anyone know if it is possible to change this? or make a patch/loader to allow it to happen. More than likely this is hardcoded, which I'm sure means that it probably wont happen. Unless of course I made the FRM incorrectly.

Hmmm, sounds cool.

I assume that you replaced the meny FRM with a new one, with the animation on it.

Hmmm, does the game have some trigger that starts a FRM running ?

That could be it, though this is admitidly speculation for a non-programer.

Yes, And since I'm a hardware tech I thought Id ask here so the software Genuis' could help (hint hint hint......red)

I think the main menu interface is hardcoded too and I don't know if the engine would handle an animated interface.
If I remember correctly in mapper, you have to assign the script "animforever" (or called something similar) to any animated scenery if you don't want it to be static.
If you could find a way to hack the interface so this script is assigned to it maybe you could make it would work but this is just a wild speculation.
