animated scenery difference

What's the difference between FRMs that are animated by themselves such as the Burning Barrel and those that need a script for animation such as Steam?

Yes, Fallout 2 also has certain animated colours. If the image contains one of the said colours the engine will cycle the colour to give an animated effect.

I'm not sure what program you need to use to create any these sorts of FRMs I know Frame Animator cant do them, so I figure you'll have to use one of the original command line tools from Team-X

So the Burning Barrel has cycling colors animation and the other one has full FRM animation? Makes sense actually. Thanks
