i recently had the idea to give my favorite npc players more levels,i did all the neccessary file modifications and went to test it with sulik.no matter what i did sulik never leveled past stage 5.
after a week of checking files starting over ect,i registered to this website and posted in the mod section asking how to do this type of mod,replies and questions confirmed to me that i had indeed done the mod correctly.
this morning i had the idea to test it with default game files,i tested it with release<english> non patched,patched(vrs 1.02d english) and had the same problem,sulik wont level past stage 5.
so i figured it was a corrupt copy of the game i had,testing with other copies of the game proved this to be false
then i tried it on the lil womans machine,it has a UK version of the game on it from ages ago when that comp was my main,it has the kid mod but i used modrunner to apply patches,without mods same deal.
conclusion,both my main comp and my wifes comp are dual(duel?) core cpu machines,hers is sli video with 7800 nvidia cards mine is single video with 8800 gts nvidia ,i believe it is the duel core cpu causeing it.both have win xp pro installed.
i tried changing the affinity on my main comp,no joy,tried all of the compatability modes,no joy.at a loss,can any1 confirm this is a duel core cpu bug?or disprove my theory?
