Hey there musically inclined NMA'ers. I was hoping someone could tell me what I'm looking for. I was hoping to have some kind of device that I could plug my electric guitar into, as well as some headphones and an aux-in cable from a phone/mp3 player so I could play and jam along with music (that would also come in through the headphones). I don't really want an amp but was hoping there existed something smaller as most of the time I'm jamming while sitting in bed.

Those are really just a single amp model per plug.
If you have an iPhone you can also look into the various intefaces for those, like the Line 6 Sonic Port, Peavy Ampkit Link HD, IK Multimedia AmpliTube iRig and many more.

I get what you mean. You want to be able to hear yourself play without bothering anyone else. Unfortunately I'm not sure what you would use for that, and all the musical investments I ever had were making beats and rapping in a shitty little studio.

Reminds me that I still didn't buy a cabinet for the Vox Lil' Night Train that I have lying around looking adorable...
