First time out of the vault
I've seen this problem all over the place but haven't found any solutions yet so I thought I'd try here too. I am running Vista and the console doesn't work on my Fallout 3.
I want to stress that it has _nothing_ to do with my resolution. Pressing the tilde (~) does nothing. It is not a matter of it "being off screen."
Also, I have no Infrared/IR devices in my device manager. I have no USB hookups, and I did the keyboard driver update that I've seen suggested somewhere and that didn't work either.
Apparently Oblivion gives a lot of people the same problem, so their work around was an item modded into the game that opened the console for them. Unfortunately there isn't a modkit for FO3 (yet) so I can't do this. Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of any other solutions.
