Anybody having any luck attaching a debugger to FO3?

First time out of the vault
I've tried a hexedited tsearch and winject to mask the debugger, but FO3 still finds it somehow and crashes the game.

Anybody else trying this at all?
 
its not really FO3 crashing...its windows live catching and "saying" its crashed, try just alt-tabing back into the game...without closing the crash window....should work...or you could disable windows live for the game (doesn't matter if you are logged in or not...its enabled unless you disable it)..see cheathappens for instructions
 
olly pauses it because of invalid read's which even when passed to the program it says it can't handle. I'll have to run through it as something is keeping fallout from being run through olly.

He may not be talking about some windows live "saying it's crashed" but I haven't tried using tsearch.
 
Will give the cheat happens solution a spin tonight. Thanks for the tip.

If this works I may actually be able to make more progress on my FO1/2 ruleset for FO3 mod. Thanks guys.
