i need to get some new cooler paste when i change the fan on my grapics card?And also is it easy to damage your agp port?

Depends on the CPU, but if you're using one of the latest AMD/P4 then I would recommend to buy some cooler paste.

Easy to damage agp port? sure, just rough it a little and break it
 
You can just ignore odin. It's not his fault, he was born that way.

As for your questions:

1) I would, just to make sure I didn't get any dirt or oil on it

2) Not unless you do something stupid

Paste is always a good idea, but unless you are overclocking, it's not vital.

AGP ports? If you are having problems with AGP videocard, you should check if it sits firmly in place - mine was a bitch to install. Also, make sure that your videocard is compatible with your AGP port (version) - you can't install 4x AGP videocard in 2x AGP port and expect it to give you something better than standart VGA res.
 
it was stuck in place last time i checked and its a 4x agp card and the mainboard supports it....bought at the end of last year....
 
Check internet for FAQ's for your videocard. There was quite extensive one for GeForce describing all issues you might encounter.
