Anyone pre-order online through Gamestop?

Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone did a pre-order online through Gamestop? Do you know how the in-game items are packaged? I'm assuming it's just like a sheet or a card with a redemption code on it, but is it packed in the actual New Vegas box?

The reason I ask is because it looks like my order will be delayed passed tomorrow, so I'm going to try and grab a CE from the Wal-Mart across town. Then when my pre-order comes in I'll return that to Wal-Mart with the Wal-Mart receipt (and keep the in-game items).

I would assume the codes would be emailed to you if you ordered online, that is how it worked for me in the past.

I assume not, although I've gotten codes printed on cardstock inside some of my Gamestop games in the past. I've never ordered online, though. My preorder codes have all been from receipts.

I pre ordered through gamestop, the Doc in first town gives you the stuff. Hopefully canteen will help me in HC mode.

Also codes will most likely be printed on the receipt, it is how most companies are doing it.

But I think that the issue was that the game is being shipped via the mail. Do they include receipts for online orders?

Yes

And if code is not printed on receipt, bring any form of proof that you bought it from gamestop and/or pre ordered it, and any gamestop will be able to print you off a code, i promise.

The ones at brick and mortar stores, at least, come with the card sealed inside the game box itself. You may be out of luck if you need it outside of the box.
