Heeelp please!!!

I was playing arcanum and allovasudden somwere in Tarant my dexterity dropped from 19 to 13, and vrgils dropped from 8 to 2. WTF. It has never gone back up no matter what I have done.
Please tell me why this happenend.

Did you recieve a critical hit or a critical miss ? Sometimes that will cripple a limb. You could try to go to a healer and ask for the heal skill. What happened to Virgil is new to me also. What may explain this is that he is carrying a cursed item.
