Are There Any Differences Between Fallout 1 & 2 on Digital Storefronts? Which Version is Recommended?

Wondering if there are any differences between the games on Steam, GOG, Greenman, etc. Do they differ in performance, mod support, censorship yadda yadda
 
Don't play FO2 without, at least, Killap's patch. The game is so buggy, you'd think it was a Bethesda game. :P I'd recommend installing Killap's FO2 Restoration Project. It includes all the fixes in his patch, and finishes all the uncompleted elements of the game. Both the patch and F2RP are available here on NMA.
