Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
A writer friend of mine has a website and a internet downloadable podcast totally dedicated to zombies. Jokes, songs, stories, poetry---You name it. He reads the first chapter from my book (A post-apocalyptic story called Beneath the Mask) and he blew me away with it. I've never heard someone else read my stuff out loud. Anyway, his show is wild and unpredictable. He claims to be drinking Corona beers during the broadcast.

The show I'm in is number 13, and he reads my story about one hour into a two hour show. He plans to read at least 2 more chapters in successive shows. He says he's already getting comments about the book.

My pleasure, Doctor. There are quite a few zombie fans here. They even have a well-written zombie role-playing game going on here.
 
I like zombie films, but I don't know if I'd want to RP as a zombie.
 
you dont RP zombies obviously... you RP survivors who'll likely die due to their inneptitude to work together. how human of them...
 
:D I know, I know. Though it could be fun, sort of like playing a IN<4 character in Fallout.
 
I love anything zombie! especially stories on survival from hordes and hordes of zombies.

I'll never RP as a zombie, always as a survivor
 
Zombies are the best thing ever! What could be a more terrifying an adversary than the personification of what we all fear most: DEATH!

Other than that whole 'All you need to do is destroy the brain' thing...

I really loved land of the dead, shawn of the dead, the 28 (fill in blank) later, and some others. Land of the dead is my favorite.
 
There is a P+P roleplaying sourcebook called "All Flesh Must Be Eaten", published by a crowd called Edin (i think). It looks really cool, even though i don't roleplay myself, i really like the artwork and qoutes and such. I've leafed through the book and apparently the 'Zombie Master' (DM, i think) can create his/her own setting based on a number of different b-movie post-apocalyptic scenarios such as: Meteor strike wipes out civilisation and cosmic dust causes the dead to rise, a general voodoo/black magic raising of the dead, the Dawn of the Dead "Hell is full so they came back" kind of thing, and of course.......global thermo nuclear war scorches the earth and radiation causes people to mutate into zombies! The character classes are cool too: you can play anything from a jock or a cheerleader to a biker or (my favourite) a Death Metal musician. Anyway, check it out if you're into zombies.

My favorite kind of games was for a long time survival horror. Games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Alone in the Dark, really rocked my world.

Now they're only part of my private retro-junk.
 
I LOVE zombies (which my girlfriend finds highly amusing). My friend Rob writes a zombie comic called "The Walking Dead," so if you like zombies check that out.

I thought for a while of making a zombie film with my friend from high school who works at Paramount now, but I realized that thanks to Shaun, World War Z, Night of the Living Dorks, SARS Wars, etc. that right now there are too MANY funny zombie movies. I'll bide my time... yes, like a good zombie, I shall amble along until the moment is right to stick my teeth in and convert htem all... HAHAHA!

:D I have most of the issues of that.
 
I'm not sure how his stock will look after Comic-Con, but if he manages to have any of his stuff left over I'll see if I can snag a couple autographed issues or something for some fans.
 
One of the dudes on here with a zombie avatar has a "Walking Dead" av.
 
I've finished writing a zombie novel entitled either Dead Tide or Dark Tide, but it's still out with two publishers. Hopefully, I'll know something soon.
