Has anyone tried this out and does it crash your system?

After seeing the thread on Mods posted earlier I am a bit suspicious.

Has anyone played this? Does it cause your system to crash? How is the mod?

no i mean in the temple of trials. in the mod they change the items and quests and i couldnt get past that door

Thanks

Dear Harold's Tree-

Thanks for the info. It's been awhile since I played, but didn't you need to get past that door to continue in the game?

Hi

Just installed the mod and it ran fine. The Temple has changed. I didn't need to use any explosives. Its a bit more puzzle orientated.

Apparently you get the otion to become an apprentice shaman or warrior. I must have said or done something wrong because neither will train me. Does that mean that the game will just continue as normal without any extra quests? Will I have to reload and try again?

First locked door

I am playing the Arroyo-Klamath Mod, and was wondering if anyone else has played it and what kinds of problems have you found.

I just started and am having trouble getting past the first locked door. For some reason I can't lock pick it, and perhaps it can't be lock picked.

Any advice?

This Mod is great!

If anyone wants to discuss how to get through this, please post.

The first locked door one needs to pry open with a metal pole. The second one you need a big stone.

And Arroyo is much more interesting.

Definitely worth trying.

Spoilers here for those who are trying it-

I have been playing two games with this. A female on the Shaman quest, and a male on the warrior quest.

The warrior quest seems to be more useful. You have to get three golden gecko pelts in three days. These can be stolen from Klamath pretty easy, or if you got the balls to try it, by fighting a could of goldens. You get the gecko skinning pelt before you go, then 300 or 400 experience and some fighting bonuses.

Couple issues- I don't think you can get it if you are female, but it might be my female stats aren't high enough. Also watch the time. Combat bonuses for unarmed and melee weapons.

The Shaman quest is a bit more interesting. First Hannukan (*is that the name) sends you to kill spore plants. Don't do the martial arts on the plants! Then you need to get more than 30 kharma without killing anything and be back for the day of initiation. Some medical bonuses when you listen to his lecture. The way to do this is to be quick. Fix the well, and find smoke (don't kill the little geckos- Hanukan said you need to do some good things without killing anything) Get your butt to Klamath and fill Whiskey Bob's still than hustle back. Got to be quick because if you wait to long you lose the bonus and everyone at Arroyo hates you.

Hanukan lets you smoke some reefer and you pass out. The next day you wake up in the village after doing a crazy tribal dance. 300 bonus exps. If you kept the pack of smokes you can give that to Hanukan for more joints. Also you get your own grampy bone and a nice peace pipe, although what to do with them is still unknown.

I thought this was a nice way to start Fo2 with more of the tribal story.
