Assault on Fort?

I'm doing a good playthrough and I've got Boone and so I'm thinking about killing Caesar. If I take Boone with me, I won't be able to use Render Unto Caesar to get to Caesar. And if I go without him, I guess I won't get those points to get him to finally fucking talk to me about his issues.

So, I guess my only option a direct assault and kill them all? Am I missing on some cool interactions or quests with the Caesar as a good character this way? And are there other options?

There are a couple of cool quests you will miss if you decided to take that route. A Legion playthrough will fix that though, which isn't really possible with Boone obviously.
