Attention Scripters/modders (Marcus)

Ffsfallout2

First time out of the vault
hello all.

Ive got problems with my current save, I'm not going to go into it right now, but my request is as follows:

- Change the script of Marcus so I do not require to complete the quests to obtain him as a follower.

-alt, Somehow add Marcus to my party somehow.

Ive searched to internet far and wide, and messaged a couple Nma members for help..

p.s also i read that the 'Restoration project 2.0' had a debug script left in that allowed you to obtain Marcus as a companion WITHOUT having to complete the two quests for him.. this 'problem' has now been corrected, but in my case, that might be my solution. Cant find earlier versions of Rp however..

I would literally pay someone to fix this, its destroying my 'build an army on fallout 2' experience. making me a sad sad man. any more info required just message me.

Thanks

Why don't you just complete the quests as they're intended? Surely you can do that with that army of yours.

It should not be difficult to modify the script yourself as well. It should be obvious where he is added to your party.

Hmm may have a go.. but now with F2se ive just set the quests as complete!

and i couldn't complete the quest that was the problem, I could only show the note to Francis and Zaius (which is fine, couldn't show it to Dan though even tried placing it on his person..) then i make Francis leave, but i can never tell marcus whats gone on. just ''i need to tell you something''>>> ''oh nothing nevermind''

Also on another note (being greedy now..)

is it possible to.. hmm spawn? npcs to your location? eg. Dex, Cassidy ect..

I cant go to Epa, or vault city without a crash.. sigh

Yes, you can spawn any object with create_object_sid (or whatever macros there are wrapping that.)
You can then add them to your party. AFAIK you will, however, still have the original copy of them on the map they're from (e.g. Broken Hill in this case). You could try to remove it when you get to that map, but that's just silly...

(mind blown) :V

script editing ay.. not too confident, but i guess i'll give it a whirl.
its backup time.

thanks for your help dude.

Damn i love this site.
