audio skipping in end cinematics :(

First time out of the vault
hey all,
i couldnt find any help regarding this anywhere so thought id ask. a mate just sold me his fallout games and i just finished fallout 1 (which rocked!) but as soon as the end cinematic begins the voice starts skipping and stopping and it is, to say the least, a little frustrating :(

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance...
 
ive been looking through them and i cant find anything, i apologise if im missed it somewhere but i cant find it...
