2 words... Mad Max. hehe

i think they did a great job on it. besides, it's just a demo and yeah there were bugs in it, but it served it's main function which was to aquaint us with the CTB system and to prepare us for the Multiplayer demo as well as the full version.

can you say HollyWood sydication.... they will kill anything for money...

yeah, i know, which is why i giggled at my post. The Road Warrior, Mad Max... both great films. course, Beyond Thunder Dome.... hmmmm, well... wasnt as good as the first two due to hollywood fuggin it over. Mad Max was no where to be seen in Beyond Thunder Dome... The character i loved just wasn't there... cept at the end.

Heh.. I liked the first two. Especially Road Warrior, which was probably the best Post Apoc movie ever made. Although, I did enjoy "The Postman".

But damn, "Beyond Thunderdrome" was really, really bad.

Postman

Ya postman was really nice...
It would have been nicer if the bottom line wasn't MAIL, and if it wasn't so cynically about a guy who becomes a mailman and saves bla bla bla...
:)

The atmosphere was good... a bit too hollywoodish tho...
I wish they would make a NEW road warrior...
i mean - a new post-apoc movie that would be as good and as non-hollywoodish as The Road Warrior...

Like... FALLOUT - THE MOVIE :)

RE: Postman

I'm opposed to a Fallout movie simply because I know how much they would violate its wholesome goodness to make it more acceptable to the mass market.

RE: Postman

I used to live where they filmed the first one... boy those were the days.... anyway i heard that a fourth Mad Max may be in the works... heard it a while a go and i am not sure where... could be promising, could also be a complete screw-up...

RE: Postman

actually, the postman wasn't about "mail"... it was about establishing communications in the wastes. i mean, if we fell into a nuclear war... one of the most important things would be to re-establish communications to the various communities. that's the only way to cordinate forces and rebuild what once was.
