B-team isn't working!

Alright, this is the problem:

I'm trying to play with the b-team mod. I'm using the patched version of Fallout 2, and I'm running him with the FAME and the MODERUNNER. But, when i put an armor in a NPC, the image doens't change! It's like the mod isn't working!

I'm using with him these mods:

-The Original patch :shock:
-Klint the Generous
-narg Replacement

When I run the mod with FAME, he found some HEAVY CONFLICT with the b-team and the Patch000.dat. But when I run it with the modrunner, nothing happens too...

anyone know anything I can do???
 
Use only the B-Team mod. :) Which is the patch you use, the official 1.02 or 1.05 ? Also, you have to exit the dialogue to make the new armour visible.
Please be a little bit more specific. What is the version of the mods you're using?

Alright, i'm using the 1.02! When i try to load the b-team, the FAME try to find conflicts. Then appear that mensage:

Okay, I've found some HEAVY conflicts in b-team.dat with the patch000.dat in these scripts:

The FAME show a lists with all scripts of the NPCS!

I click to put the game to load with the conficts, when I try to put the armor in the NPC and I leave dialogue nothing happens, the image doens't change! I tryed it with a save game, and I tryed again restarting the game from the start, nothing happens too!

The strange thing, is:

I've used the b-team mod with the patch 1.02 long time ago, when it was announced (the mod) and it works very well. I will try to use it without the other mods to see if works!

Yeah, that right, b-team isn`t working!

Alright, I tryed to run it on other computer, my pals here in Brazil tried him, and in any of them the b-team doesn`t run! Can anyone who have a good karma and 10 of Charisma, who have the b-team working, put it here to download and say which program is using to run it, and what patch is using??

Only to say, I`m using the official 1.02

The B-team mod and the Modrunner I use work quite well with both 1.02 us andd 1.05 us versions.

Be aware that some other mods cause the B-Team to fail (not producing errors, just *not* changing characters' appearance). The Vertibird Mod and the Cult of Personality Mod are among them, the Friendly Klint Mod, however, works just fine.
 
B- Team MOD

Has anyone used the B - Team mod before? My Fallout 2 is the updated U.S. version and I installed this mod from the directions.

But the mod is supposed to make your NPC buddies armour visually show up. So I got Sulik to join me to test out the mod, and told him to put on his leather jacket - but the armour didnt show up like its supposed to. Maybe there is another way to install it? (I replaced the PATCH000 file). Or maybe someone else has had some trouble with this mod?

I believe the mod supports all the NPC characters except maybe Myron or something...

(P.S. - I killed Myron on sight with all my games after I had talked to him.)
 
Usually I'm the good cop around here, but you should have done a search http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/search.php in the forums before you asked your question. Do not create redundant , brainless threads.

I'm merging this with an old thread on the subject. Do a forum search with the query "b-team" and look if your problem is addressed.

As you'll find out, Myron is affected too. If your mod isn't working, then you probably hava another, conflicting mod installed.

If you have a patch000.dat file , it may be the case that you have files in your /data/ directory that override this.

Again, search the forum to find out more about this!!
 
Using modrunner is the best way to run this mod, and remember to never use FAME.
 
I just replace the PATCH000.dat when I use the B-team mod, but then again, I have no other mod's installed.
 
B Team mod help!!! Please advise!!

I D/Led and installed it like it said...I tried using mod runner but it kept saying "Can't save patch000"...so I manually plugged it in.

But now I can't load any previous saves....I can start a new game, but not load....is it because my guys are wearing armor already?
Does it mean I have to restart? ( the game)
Does this mod work?
Where did I screw up?!

I really want to play this mod...It's a little confusing not to see your NPCs armor....

Please help!!!
 
When installing a new mod you should generally start a new game, since protos and such in saved maps may conflict with what's been changed/added/removed. I can't say for sure this is the case here, though. Anyway, merging with old B-team thread.
