For my new comp I ordered a GeForce2 MX400 64MB Card. Unfortunately, I just came across some benchmarks that indicate that I could get about double the framerate with a GeForce2 Ti card for only $10-15 more. *grumbles*

Um, what do you expect? Of course a TI will beat an MX. I thought you would've done some research before spending your money.

Well, this experience has taught me a couple of things. The first is never trust free advice. A close second is do the research.

Rather, take the free advise and do research on it. I don't need anything more than a Geforce2MX because my games don't demand any more. Plus I don't play enough to make it worth any more than the $50 it is worth now. You on the other hand should've looked up what you needed and wanted based off my configuration.

I think you got ripped off. Granted, I'm not sure about the conversion rates, but I only paid $295 or so (with shipping) for an Athlon XP 1800+, a Mobo, a decent heatsink/fan, a GeForce 2 Ti, and 256 MB of PC2100 RAM. I got an OS disk for free, and the rest altogether might cost $300 more.
