Berserker!

It Wandered In From the Wastes

You have killed a large number of people. This is generally not a good thing to get known for. People from the wrong side of the track will like you a little more, however.

I have done this several times and wonder if anyone has done the same thing?

I systematically (or in random order) decimate all societies on the FO worldmap. Kill every living thing on the face of the planet... And I'm not talking about blowing up the Cathedral taking everyone in the building with it. No, I'm talking about walking in and without warning or reason blowing the head off of everything that moves and then blowing up an empty church... Even to the point of not even letting the rats in the old Vault 15 take thier last breath without blowing off thier little furry nads. Of course, in FO1 you can do this except for one person untill you beat the game and blow him to pieces... that damn Overseer. Anyway, in FO2 it's a little more interesting to accoplish this, as there are so many more maps to navigate and so much more ammo needed... I havent tried it for FOT though... I havent had the time recently...

So, who of you out there are fellow Berserkers?

I find you don't need to slaughter everything to get Beserker. In fact, i've managed to get it accidently once or twice!

I'm not sure if you need have killed a certain number of men/women generally, or a certain number of neutral townfolk. I think it may be the latter....

I think it only counts neutral/good critters that reduce your karma for killing, since you can wipe out the raiders, V15 raiders, Salvatores, Bishops, Mordinos, and everything in Navarro and the Enclave without getting it.

I'm thinking about doing a Genocidal character in Fallout 2. No talk (except to get the combat implants and the car), just KILL KILL KILL MURDER DEATH BLOOD. Let's see if I can do that in the future.

KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN! KILL MAIM BURN!

Of course :) . Actually, I often have to control myself to not fall out of the role and to not start killing everything that moves :) .
I usually don't eradicate everyone, though.

Well, yeah, it is easy to get the Berserker title, and it does have to deal with how may non-hostile, innocent/nuetral people you initiate combat with and kill.

I figured out a way for you to kill everything in a town though without getting bad karma or Berserk status... Not sure if this will work with various patches or whatever, and this is so much eisier to do in FO2 than in 1. Talk to someone get them pissed at you and then continually "end turn" Cassidy and your other NPCs will kill off all hostiles near you and even those nonhostiles and they get the bad rep not you... but because they are NPCs it doesn't matter.... That is how I genneraly walk out of a dead town and still be "Idolized"... lol

It's pretty absurd, isn't it?
Especially that both Ian and Tycho seem to be good guys.

I know... Tycho was a Ranger from Nevada and Ian was a Captain of guards in Shady Sands... And then Marcus being the Sherif, and Cassidy, well, I can see casidy doing something like this. Just think of how pissed offf he was when he had his bar busted up.

you can kill the overseer. you just have to wait for the right moment.

I knw.. and I love that "A" key... I blow him away every time, even if I don't initiate the hostilities... the funny thing is, even if you do not have a pistol equipt or even in your inventory, you still pull out a pistol and kill him!
