best frm converter?

what is the best frm --> bmp / gif file converter out there? i've tried a few and none seem to work so far or am i doing something wrong... (im using Borg Locutus's frm2bmp.exe converter: i have the frm in the same folder and execute the converter and nothing happens. =(

Frame Animator is probably the best all round FRM tool avaivable.

Jochua (The author) is working on a new version that should be released soon.

If you read the thead on how to make a new critter it will give you a point in the right direction.

But for making still FRM all you need to do is add the BMP/GIF to the image and then click the 'Create FRM' button to save it.

im a complete dumbass. seems simple enough, does it incorporate the palettes?

Yes, it loads the FO palette and has the option of using a different palette
