Best Gaming mag

PC gamer!
Alot of humor in it aswell as info about upcoming games. Maybe the humor only excists in the swedish version, however PC gamer owns.

I don't subscribe to any gaming mag. If anything, I'll read them when I'm in the store or something. But they're no use if I want gaming news. Most of the stuff is out of date by the time the mag would come to my house. For gaming news, I'll just go to a gaming website like gamespy or something.

I used to get PC Gamer when it was a healthy 300-400 page magazine. Now it's totall pages is about half that while they still charge the same price (i think that subscription price is like 2.25 an issue or something like that). Meanwhile i can get Maxim or Stuff for a measly 1.25 an issue.

I have to ask, Is Maxim and Stuff better article wise than some of the other (Porn) magazines?

(Yes I know the thread is derailed).

yeah, another thing about these gaming mags. I used to really like reading my friend's CGW whenever he got it. This was back like 8 years ago, like middle school/early high school. Those were the good editions, with a hellalot of content. Each mag was as big as a book. Now, all the mags are ridiculously short and most of the pages are all advertisements. I won't pay money for advertisements and news I can get for free.

I occasionally pick up PC Gamer if I need something to read or if I'm looking for a good source of recent gaming news/info.

As for Maxim and the like, their target audience are horny teenaged boys but they do write some pretty "immature mature" articles in an enjoyable way. I'm always sure to buy the latest one before I travel anywhere far. It passes the time very well and i'm sure to learn a thing or two along the way. Like how to do underwater muff diving or something along those lines.

I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not, so:

Yea thats right, Mr T is gay. Ever seen the stand up with Eddie Murphy where he makes fun of Mr T being gay? Its called eddie murphy delirious. If you havent seen it you better do! Laughed so hard I lost weight.

Mr. T was a wicked playa. He was like Lawrence Taylor. Whenever LT would go to a hotel, he would get two rooms: One for having sex with his biatches, and the other for doing crack. Except Mr. T had the other room for his gold chains.

Stuff, Maxim's little brother, is a little more aimed at younger honry men, Maxim is aimed at all honry men. The articles are either interesting or funny (every once in a while i come across a line that just drops me to the floor). When i first started subscribing they were both a buck an issue subscribtion price, now thier like 1.25 but for your money i think its the best magazine out there.

I check out what's on the discs in PC gaming magazines. If they're offereing some kickass free games, like PC Gamer did last month, then I pick it up.

I am a PCGamer UK subscriber since 1996 : loads of jokes and demos, reliable reviews. I only download a demo once in a while, for instance when the next PCG issue is more than a fortnight away.
French PC gaming magazines are dreadful, they seem to be afraid of awarding low scores (less than 40%), plus they're targeted at young teenagers, and are definitely not helping to improve the image of videogaming.
