Best places to buy Energy weapons and ammo? + PA training?

PainlessDocM

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
-I am having trouble finding ammo for my energy weapons, the weapon store in Freeside doesn't seem to restock ammo..

-How can I get PA training, I have 6 PA in my inventory (and my mule followers) but can't use them, I did all the main Brotherhood of steel quests and 'hired' the Followers Doctor but I can't access his quests.

Thanks in advance

I got power armor training by replacing Elder McNamara with Hardin, asking Hardin if I could join the Brotherhood, and then doing his quest to kill the Van Graffs.

I don't know if the Khans sell energy weapon ammo, but their ammo restocks and they have A LOT OF IT. They're in Red Rock Canyon. I did some quest - I can't remember what - and became Accepted by them. They sell 200x .44 ammo, so that's awesome.

Best place for energy weapons is the Silver Rush, run by the Van Graffs. You get everything there.

Well the best PA can be obtained by doing quests with and for the doc in the old Mormon camp, but for some reason (perhaps I made wrong choices in the past) can't access them.

I gave up on that f*cking "Virus quest" with the BOS. Worst quest I have encountered in this otherwise good game.

Indeed, I did all their quests and bought (or stole) every energy weapon they had in store, but they don't seem to restock ammo.

If you have done all their quests,

[spoiler:edf4996efe]did you killed Cass?[/spoiler:edf4996efe]

Btw. their questline was one of the better ones, imo. Especially the later part was nice.

[spoiler:b8a64b9a08]yes I did sacrifice poor Cass:)[/spoiler:b8a64b9a08]

And their quests are indeed very nice.

You're actually talking about the people I had to kill to get the power armor training. Good thing my character is too goody-two-shoes to do quests for them, because I just closed off all the lines :)

There must be some other way to get power armor training. I've heard that it is also a possible reward in the "For Auld Lang Syne" quest from Arcade Gannon. But I have no clue how to trigger that quest.

Nice, thanks! Even though it somehow takes the magick out of it. :D

Ehh, it's just a few ways to get "points"... For example, I've completed most of the listed quests before I took him, so it means that... I can't make this quest? It kinda forces to use the guide :/.

I wonder if this will really work like that. I am not far enough in the mainstory yet, to trigger the next event, so I will see how it will turn out.

Hah. I think that's the only quest I did for BOS.
I was too impatient to fuck around since I was feeling like I'll never end Mr House's quest chain...I rushed towards the end.
