bethesda E3 2016 showcase, possibly obsidian fallout anouncement as well?

Where are you getting an Obsidian Fallout from? They're more likely to announce DLC for Fallout 4, don't you think?

i was getting pumped at first but..., well it is yeah.. its not good for their marketing. anouncing another fallout after less year release.

A DLC made by Obsidian would be nice, they could make it so FO4 is an RPG of sorts, less shooting/killing, more choice/consequence in dialogue [and get rid of the dialogue wheel].

I'd rather not see Obsidian be relegated to doing DLC work for an already dismal Fallout.

The DLC might turn out well, though without doubt hampered by the dialogue wheel. I still feel confident that it will have some big flaws, knowing the nature of Bethesda's team. Old habits die hard, and this is especially true for Bethesda.

Yeah, I wouldn't be stoked about Obsidian making DLC either. Granted, their DLC for New Vegas was mostly great (Dead Money being one of the best DLC's I've ever played). But alongside the main content of Fallout 4, their writing would be jarring and most likely hampered by the games systems. If they were to be involved in Fallout again, I'd want to see a full new game made by them. With proper story, no or very little settlement building, and a number of scrapped concepts from Fallout 4.

Yeah developers don't really do DLCs for each other, especially in this case where there's nothing impeding Bethesda from doing it themselves, and an external company like Obsidian having their own projects on hand.

If nothing else, Bethesda's going to be able to churn out a Fallout 4 DLC pack much quicker than anybody who hasn't been working with the Fo4 engine for years has.

If they actually wanted to appeal to the old school/NV fans all they need to do is put "Written by Chris Avellone" on the trailer for the DLC.

Just announcing a new Fallout game ain't gonna do anything too bad to sales as long as the release date is a ways away. Considering what we've been hearing out of Obsidian, I wouldn't be surprised if they're starting work on F5 or something along those lines.

An Obsidian DLC would be stupid. Obsidian makes better Fallout games than Bethesda. Fallout 4 is a clear example of "go back and try again."

In other words, please let Obsidian give the fans New Vegas 2 and simultaneously put out the crappy Bethesda FO4 DLC for the odd group of people that hate immersion and therefore love Fallout 4.

I don't understand how all of you people come up with ideas of a new Fallout or it being a major talk about a DLC. The game just got out. With how things went, not smoothly I might remark, DOOM is the big bird they'll showcase to get back on the good tracks.

As far as this DLC talk is involved, there's a lot of speculation about an underwater theme park but I guess it'll be connected somehow to some Pre-War experience and the pseudo mafia presence in the game - what with all that you're a Military veteran, Valentine, the Triggermen, the VR longue, etc. And Irwin, I don't want to sound like an asshole but - I don't think it's a good idea that Obsidian gets to do anything Fallout related at the moment. With how things went somewhat south with New Vegas and the engines limitation at that time - now it's even worse. Work with something even worse with the same limited time schedule and ... you know what you get.
