Better Pace Mod - Help

I got the Fallout 3 pacing mod from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=80 My problem is with me not being able to understand the readme. First, I added the .esp file to my Fallout 3 directory

Next it says:

"edit your plugins.txt file (found in root->users->youruser->appdata->local->fallout3 in vista.
(the appdata folder is hidden)

To the plugins.txt add the text "Fallout3BetterPaceMod.esp" right under where it says "fallout3.esm""

I can't find the plugins.txt file. The appdata folder doesn't exist but if the modder means Application Data, the file still isn't there, plus there are three different folders for Application Data for Fallout 3. He's doing it in Vista so maybe it's set up differently in XP, which I'm using.

It might work already but I can't tell. I'm at level 17 and I'm getting 10xp from Feral Ghouls and 25 or 50 from Super Mutants. Please help.

If you have checked it in the fallout launcher it should be active already. The plugins.txt is just a way to make sure its really active. XP Path of that is C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Locale Settings\Application Data\Fallout3\ - note: Locale Settings and Application Data are hidden folders.

If everything fales just use the windows search engine for plugins.txt

But I doubt this mod will make much of a difference at level 17, you might want to think about removing the level cap (mod can be found at nexus or here)
