Yeah, I had it also. Go to your DirectX folder and doubleclick on DXDiag. Then go to the Sound tab and look for the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level. Whatever it currently is, set it all the way to the opposite. I've seen people post that setting it to High fixes the problem and setting it to Off fixes the problem. In my case it was off, and setting it to High did the job. If this doesn't work, post here, I've got another possible solution.
