Bigger Urban Area Maps

I was just thinking how small the towns and 'cities' are in f2. I guess they had an excuse in f2 because civilisation was just starting to rebuild itself. E.g. When i finally became a citizen in Vault City i was excitied cause i could go into the vault. all the vault ended up to be was a 3 level small cave with nothing really interesting in their.
Well i guess that's just a suggestion but it would make the gameplay more interesting.
