Bill Maher

I loved last season. Last season he had two republicans to balance it out.

Now it seems more like one big happy liberal circle jerk more often.

I fucking hate Bill Maher. I enjoyed a few shows of Politically Incorrect that had guests that knew something about the issue they were discussing, but Bill Maher is an infected boil on the ass of humanity.

I've seen him actually have a few discussions that I agree with him on the issue, but somehow, he still came off as a blowhard idiot.
 
I've found that while I don't necessarily agree with the way that Bill Maher presents his humor, I do agree with his politics. Many of his standup routines (like the one on Comedy Central Friday night) are great, and reflect my feeling on things from Clinton and Monica to political skepticism.

Overall, he's better to have around than not.
 
I think he's a little too biased overall but for the most part, i enjoy the show. Also, he's falling into the "talking over the guest" trap. What's the purpose of having a guest if you aren't going to let them talk?
 
I saw his standup, i like his style.

one of my favorite joke on that show is when he talks about the last republican convention and that shaka khan was one of the artist (insert filler) and he mentions that the last time the republicans had so many blacks on stage, it was because they were selling them.
 
He used to be funny. Now its just a big lefty jerk session like CCR said.

Bill Maher, along with many news agencies today, have ceased reporting unbiased material in favor of supporting one side over the other. Their material starts to get very one dimensional and uninteresting. I hope things shape up once all the political stuff dies down. Its sad really, but thats the nature of politics I guess.
 
But Maher is not a news source but a comedy show about the news. I never remember there being anything saying it's unbiased.

Bill O'Reilly's "No SPin Zone" is supposed to be unbiased, but it's not. Shouldn't the left also have a chance to get nasty with the right?
 
Sure I'm left, but he's waaay left... but, whatever. Like welsh said, he's not so much a new source, but there for entertainment. I don't initially agree with a few things he says, but he's so smart and witty, he make me agree (i.e. makes me feel stupid for not agreeing) His show is amazing in my opinion, and I'm really curious to see next weeks now that Bush has officailly won. He should bring more republicans on the show, but I think a lot of them are too afraid to come. Even if he did claim to be unbiased, doesn't Fox claim to be that way too?
