Black edges on map that weren't there before?

Hi I'm on windows playing Fo2 RP I haven't added any additional mods or anything. Tried checking the ini for options but I can't figure it out. Map looks like this. I reinstalled because some kids in Klamath were Mr. Handy sprites and some plants at EPA were human sprites, I didn't change anything as far as I'm aware. But I'm certain I had edges to this map, and at the bridge, maybe some other places

If You play the game with Sfall and or High resolution patch enabled, the above is the effect of playing the game in resolution higher than Vanilla 640x480.

that's it there's nothing wrong with the map edges.. they work just fine.. the problem is the map itself is smaller than one screen of your resolution, hence you start out with black borders, same thing with 4:3 aspect ratio movies on 16:9 screen, without stretching or cutting top and bottom via video editing.

P.S. do notice that yu can't scroll the map left and right ( that should calm you a little concerning screen edges).. as for other errors you have, might be a good thing to check your pc for faulty ram or faulty drive, or scan for malware with a high quality scanner..

hey thanks for the help. that makes sense, i think i had a different resolution last time i played. and as the other thing i cant be for sure what caused it but i havent seen a mr handy in klamath that says it's a child so i think i might be good after the reinstall.
