it is "Randoms & Mutants" concept

-walk around world, seek and destroy supermutants
-you will mostly found his on random locations
-every locations will be random
-every group SupMut will have thier boss and he got key
-if you found every keys, may enter last location where is big bad boss
-every locations will got hidden secrets
-every time game will be different (olways you may found something new)

simple game but never bore- lot interesting new things
 
Prior thing was made entire game of random encounters to include my every crazy ideas, inspirations, game concepts. Then was question- why you found this locations: because you found supermutants here. Next question- game ending: well game must have some end so you enter to final location if found every keys in smaller areas.
-randoms with mutants
-boss got keys
-all keys to enter final location with mutant god or something

Diablo game was even more stupid than this concept but how high playability!, so i think this not so bad idea. Anyway its simple to made i chose this because:
-mod can be fast made
-may got high playability
 
Wow, your really changing this mod around... dont know if it is for the better or worse but ill play it, if and when it comes out because I just love fallout in general...

Sounds like Icewind Dale, where you must get five badges each from a bad boss, opening a door to the lower dungeon where the big bad boss is.
 
I played Icewind and this part with 5boss was not so bad, i like game when you fight one strong enemy, instead of hundred weak. Well it can be made as badges or something else that open gate to final hardest level.

Maybe this not sound very ambitious but i think will be playability
 
I enjoyed IWD and played it several times, it's not really RPG but it's a fun dungeon crawl, and those battles were wild. Beats the hell out of FOT, which I have never even played to the end of the first mission. I wasn't criticizing, just saying it's similar to other games. The way I figure it, if you're having fun modding, great!
 
Game style depends on many things like how fast mod be finished
Already i make "W40K"Style so i need new critter- power armour, this may look nice but take time.


Alternate story is more neutral, i was thinking about this before
-some person who travell world with no quest
-or continue quest of some person

I think for sure will be elements like
-lot randoms
-you search something in these randoms
 
Upgraded concept:

"search and destroy every mutants and rescue people hide on vaults"

So supermutants will be leaders of them- the green will be small boss and armoured- big boss. Zombies and "super" mutants will be everywhere. Also people with habits will be some kind of mutaded mans heh.

You may be some kind of marine who land on earth to clean up world after war. Whole land will be radiated. I dont think you found any normal live people outside vaults. But you can find, meet them (there will be private vaults- cellar beneath some buildings and severs where most peole hide.

In upper level of world you found only mutants rage, and there will be lot of fights. In undergrounds you find remains of humanity and here will be adventure elements like quests.

So the F2BSM will be not only Fallout2 mod but entire new postnuclear game on F2 engine with lot new concepts. Well this be something like future diablo with adventure elements.. uh i dont known what game compare to this- i think its just something totally new (i dont seen game like this nowhere, if someone seen- tell me)

-landing on radioactive world after war where mutants rage everywhere
-remains of humanity hide somewhere in undergrounds and you must find them
-you must fix as you can all this world to be normal like before war
 
new concepts:

-all mutants will be canibals, they will be olways in pack with leader
-the leader will have unique weapon, hand-made knife
-already i made 20 different knives
-people will be hidde in house cellars, underground ruins
-most people will be drunk, they will produce own alcohol
-alcohol will be used as weapon (molotovs) and cure to bore
 
Sounds a little like Dawn of the Dead, except there are mutants not Zombies... It could be a good idea. It does fix the hole in George Romero's story in that eventually the Zombies would rot if you hid somewhere long enough. He never comes out and says for sure that "When Hell is full the dead will walk." (It's just what one guy says) Anyway, I digress...
 
It was concept to make prior experience source from enemies.
Already i change this to search and read VD holodisc, so will be less enemies- but still mutants are everywhere and people hide in cellars under ruined buildings- private vaults.
 
I would give this a try, Lich. I mean sounds like a zombie hunt. Played worse, but you know how make a mod, so when its ready I will take it.
 
That sounds quite good, but what about the dialog and playing a talking character. IF I have understood correctly most of the story will be told via Holodiscs, will dialogue play any role in this game, because it would be great to ewolve the speaking/anti-war character to such extremeties that you could literally speak your way from any situation. Basically I love good dialogue in games, that is probably why I loved the first 2 Fallouts and ofcourse Arcanum.
 
And plus the fact that u use guns and ammo instead of swords and daggers made fallout 2 very unique. Plus the special system was kickass... I hate dnd games, i dont know why

Are these mutants all going to look the same or are you going to come up with some nice stuff like usual? :)
 
I like a good gun fight and brutal melee. But dialogue and atmosphere made Fallout fun. Of course, if Fallout was tugged more in a '50's feel, yeah. But Mutants are good.

And DND is too main stream. The Post Apocalypse can be just as fun.
 
Yes atmosphere was not so good because things that may scary-was funny because non realistic. I try fix it.

New concept is made something like western i postapocaliptic world. Gold, treasure and bounty hunter.
 
Fresh concept: throw out prior game plot (!)

Start game as nobody man come from desert
Be and Do, chose way whatever you want- this will make realistic world and great RPG
Prior thing is made large possibilities- so primary quest you chose by own

This was already used in game so you can be:
-slaver
-porn star
-boxer
-mafioso
-trader
-hunter
(and else)
I want extend this system much more but cut any start game quest
