Mildly Dipped
Why do people waste their time writing virii? Does it make them feel big? Is it some kind of social commentary? Are they part of an organization working towards an utopia by wasting non-1337 |-|4XX0r5' time and resources?
I woke up this morning to find my computer off. I usually leave it on every day because some part of the computer fucked up and forces you to reinstall XP if the computer gets turned off for more than 5 minutes. Yes, thats right, each time the power goes out means 5 to 8 hours to get the computer at 100% efficiency. This isn't such a bother, I have learned to live with it.
I got the computer running at 2 pm and prepared to start downloading the 200+ MB in XP patches and directX that I need. Suddenly, a ridiculous message comes up about a Remote Procedure Call terminating unexpectedly. Now, I don't know each bit of code of XP like the 1337 do but I did know that it was quite grave because a shutdown with a countdown is not typical with XP. I spend 3 hours fighting with the fucking rebooting computer until the virus gave me time to get in touch with a friend of mine thru messenger. He asked with had I signed off so many times. I told him about my rebooting problem...he asked me if I had blaster. I didn't know WTF Blaster was but since my symptoms looked like a Blaster infection, I went to Symantec and picked up a virus removal application as I didn't have norton and McCaffee gives me some WEIRD bug (if I press any keys outside text boxes in the browser....it crashes) and voilá, I got my computer back.
So thank you, mystery hacker. Thanks for wasting a lot my time, money and family time (I caused a family BBQ to start 3 hours late and got a bunch of people not to assist). You, fuck. If I ever put my hands on your precious, nutrient-holding skin...I'll feed you pieces of your own black-hearted body until you drown in your own vomit. You are not a hero. You are not a cyber-vigilante. You are not helping people fight against the opression of corporate business. You, kind sir, are nothing but a waste of proteins, bones, blood and the SHIT that your brain is made off.
