That sounds fun but sadly NMA won't be able to muster up enough people to do a league. I would love to be proven wrong. Codex did one for this game though I think.

Sounds interesting, but I know nothing about American Football or it's rules. Also, this game is full of DLCs. Apparently if I was to buy all of them at -33% I would have to pay: A$ 109.01.

As much as I'd like to participate in an NMA league, my life is chaotic and I'd feel really shitty to say I'm up for games and then my schedule gets fucky and I just vanish. As I cannot guarantee availability, that eliminates my ability to participate. I don't really want to feel like a complete douchenozzle when my life gets in the way.

Is it only -33% for you on the summer sale right now? Well, if it is or you look into it when the sale ends, skip all that do not have something you yourself wish to play. Do not buy the DLCs individually if you don't want to play those races. You can still play against other people with them even if you do not have them. If you're getting the same 70% or more off, right now would be a decent time to snap it all up. 8.99 USD for the Legendary edition, and another 8.82 USD for the team pack DLC which will net you every team in the game for a nifty 17.81 USD plus tax. So we'll just call it $20 vs $109.01.

You don't need to know much about American Football or its rules though. This is a turn based game. For Blood Bowl the rules are do your damnedest to murder your opponent's players and try to run a the ball to the endzone for a point. None of the 6pts for a touchdown and another point for the field goal... none of it. One touchdown is one point. Murder the enemy team and score more touchdowns. Pray to Nuffle (NFL) to bless your dice rolls.

If you'd like to see the game being played to judge whether or not it's your jam, I can only really think of Crendor on YouTube. He puts up Blood Bowl games, and if you can withstand listening to the most monotone man in existence, you should get an idea of the game. The game is fun.

And why would you need all the DLCs? You just buy the base game and the team you want to play.

It seems like the Team Pack DLC only brings the teams already included in the Legendary Edition.
I guess one has to buy the other 8 DLC teams individually (if they want to get all the teams).

I guess I'm outdated in my online multiplayer games. I thought that the game wouldn't allow you to play with people that have the DLCs unless you also have them, or at least be like Borderlands 2, where if you play with people that have DLCs you don't have, you are basically gimping yourself by not be able to play or access the DLC content the other players have.

How fast is this game in multiplayer? Usually turn-based games are a slog when playing over internet. Not to mention the sucky internet I have here in Australia...

The DLC is teams, if you don't have the DLC you cannot play as that team, that does not mean you cannot play another person that owns that team.

Each round is 3 minutes. Each match is 18 rounds.

Damn, only a few people showed interest in this? What the hell are the NMA'ers doing that they don't show any interest in this while corona is going around?

I was even willing to try and save to buy this game if more people showed interest.
