It Wandered In From the Wastes
heya, i am new to modding so i would like some advice please. I have read the editor and i guess i am ok with basic map making. but when i decided to put some custom content into my maps i was kind lost ... i was trying to use the following mods on my maps
a) all armor variations (that original power armor, enclave armor, omega armor and assault armor)
reading the forums i could find out that i need FT improver to use those mods, well i downloaded and installed it. but things aren't as they were supposed to be ... example ...
a) problem with all armor actor sprites ...
1) i zipped all bos sprite files creating a sprite folder at fot core folder
2) named the armor txt file of improver's folder -> {power mkIII;power;0;sprites/character/power mkIII;0;0}
3) created the armor with entity editor and placed it at my test map, i could see it on the ground and inside the character inventory but the actor sprite was the tribal not the new power armor. I also noticed that i could use the new armor images on npcs only if i used unique humanoid race, otherwise the actor sprite would revert to its original race.
obs) also noticed that my Fot improver "Item use limitations patch ver. 1" is not working.
i wonder if the actor sprite would not work if i could find a way to use the sprites inside the bos files ... perhaps find a way to zip the bos file and revert it to bos again, but i have not been able to do so. any help please ?
