BOS room in Fallout 1

There is a room in the BOS bunker’s first floor in Fallout 1, which is filled with boxes, scribes and knights. This room’s door is locked and can’t be picked, is there a way in?

It can be picked with an Electronic Lock Pick.

And if you do, make sure to save first. IIRC it turns BOS hostile. Or am I mistaken?

Yeah, I believe if you bust in there you'll have to run for it or take out the entire BOS. They ain't too keen on the idea.

Yeah, there's a shitload of weapons and the like in there, but not enough to warrant offing the BoS.
