bosedit: "could not find current sector file"

strangelove

First time out of the vault
Well.. I have a problem (duh). Here's what happened: I've picked up the FT BoS Character Editor (the whole party version) from NMA. Upon trying to open a FT Bos save I get the following message: "could not find current sector file". I press OK (the only 'option'); the editor remains empty. Repeated attempts; the same results. (I've also had a couple of error message in german, which i can't decipher and once a "$$current$$" folder was created in an higher directory). I've got the english FT Bos version with the v. 1.27 right region patch installed.

This problem is really urgent or important in any sense but I'd still appreciate it if someone could post anything helpfull or perhaps point me in the direction of another character editor. There's some options I'd like to try out and some mistakes I'd like to unmake but untill then I can't.

I'm bringing this up because I'm having the same problem, I've tried it on the 1.13 version, and now the 1.27 version and get the same thing.

Any suggestions?

"Zu wenig Arbeitsspeicher"

Too few important memories... or something, not very fluent in german.

Thats the German(?) message you get.

It's still happening for me, not sure what to do about it.

*Edit* It means too few *main saves*, thanks to a translator on the net, I've got if fixed now...

For anyone else having this problem, you need a MINIMUM of 10 saved games. Not sure why, but that's the just of the error message.

I'm having this same issue. I just tried saving a bunch of games so that I would have more than 10, but I'm getting the same error message.

If anyone knows of another editor that allows you to edit your whole squad, I would like to try it.

Thanks!
