Tim Schafer’s making another action-style game. And in the usual Schafer fashion, the game looks like it will feature one creative and funny setup paired with an interesting cast of characters. The game will draw its influences from Norse mythology and pretty much every heavy metal album cover ever conceived. The main character, a roadie named Eddie Riggs, will also be voiced by none other than Jack Black. The current issue of Game Informer’s got all the current details, but there is this trailer floating around the net now. There are whole games out there that don’t have as much awesome as in this minute and a half trailer. Too bad this one’s still about a year away from a possible release.

I've read about it yesterday, piqued my interest.

Anyone here played Psychonauts? Great game.

Yeah, i really liked that one, too.

That's why I am quite curios about that project! Unfortunately there are no plans for a PC Version yet.
 
...The more I think about it... The more awesome I think this could be... Yeah... I could see that working.
 
I loved Psychonauts... until the final area where the platforming was obnoxious and you had to protect the kid.

Still, I liked it so much I downloaded a video extractor and watched the ending. I loved the story and the characters were so much fun.

I am reminded of the Heavy Metal film.

I don't usually care for this type of game, but I might give it a look if it turns out well.
