Can anyone tell me the details of the bonus mission?

First time out of the vault
I didn't preorder the game, thus I did not receive the 4th cd. Can anyone tell me what's in those bonus missions? Thanks. I am keep hearing some strang vehicle from the bonus on this forum.
 
You can activate the mission by changing the BOS.cfg file there is a line that enables the mission. The bonus CD didn’t enable the mission for me so I played trough half of the game before fainnding this out, damn stupid interplay.
 
Intresting, and where does one find this bonus mission cfg line?

I'd like to see what makes this mission so...special it needed it's own cd.
 
The mission comes with the game and the bonus CD updates the .cfg file or it’s supposed to, the CD isn’t required to play it.
The bos.cfg file is in the Fallout Tactics/ Core path you change the following line
{misc.bonusMission} = {false}
to
{misc.bonusMission} = {true}
and you would get the mission from the general, or you can use the trainer.

No, the bonus cd still has around 500 mb of artwork, animations, concept drawing, movies, and EXTREMELY high res renders (i.e.- To fit an entire high res render on my 1280x1024 resolution screen, I have to zoom out 5 times in PSP. You can see every minute detail in them in normal zoom.)
 
What's truly ironic:

Is that they include a good amount of the original artwork, therefore precluding any excuses for botching the current stuff. I mean, they included a whole slide of it, among the rest of the art on the CD. A lot of the concept art, etc.

What the .exe file mainly is, is a bit of installer mixed with a simple $misc.bonusMission=~ s/false/true/; statement, though not in Perl.

Does that justify burning whole new CDs? Not really. Ludicrous.
