Can ghouls get infections?

So… I’ve been repeating a lie for a couple years now. I could’ve sworn that Lenny says that ghouls do suffer from disease and infection, which, as Gecko’s resident doctor, is what he spends most of his time healing. But I recently read through his dialogue file on the (fandom) wiki, and he makes no mention of this. Apparently he spends most of his time helping Harold with administrative duties.

I specifically remember him (or some other ghoul possibly) saying they have to “scrub” themselves regularly to prevent the growth of disease on their rotting flesh. Perhaps it was cut content, or perhaps I’m thinking of a different ghoul?

Anyway, I’ve decided to ask my fellow fallout autists if any of this sounds familiar

I think those rogue bits in our brains can kid us into thinking incorrectly. I had convinced myself that the first time I had played Fallout 2 movement points and action points were split. Movement was pale yellow dots then Action points lol.
It was years ago I first played though and I was a total pot head lol
