Can I kill Modoc without screwing the story?

First time out of the vault
So, I wanna get into the guarded shed. Problem is, that whenever I set the dynomite the dogs and damn traders attack me. Ive completed all the quests in modoc already, so is it ok to kill modoc? Will I need em later? Will one of my characters (vic or sulik) Piss themselves and refuse to talk to me? Will another town hate me? etc.
 
I already told you..they are attacking me when I try to blow the shed. And how is it "lame"?
I'm sure there are PLENTY of people here making characters who are evil..
 
Oh yeah sorry i mis-read your original post!

No you wont need them later on, as long as you have completed all the quest's
 
Took me a while to remember. but as i recall the dogs always attack you when you try to get in the guarded shed. I dont know about the traders though. In any case i dont think you will like what you find in there

Sulik will leave you if you kill the stable boy, or any other child in the city (uh, Johnny?) If you're playing the UK version, this is not an issue, though.

anyway on a side note, I just found cassidy in vault city. He seems like a cooler guy than vic...and he might actually be able to aim. When can I just leave vic and get cassidy. Can I just leave him somewhere and get him if I want later or what?

Yeah, wherever you tell an NPC to wait is where he shall remain.
 
Just for the record,
Do not tell your npc's to wait for you while you are in a random encounter map,cause you won't be able to find them again :)
