Can I make my .dat file mod inviolable?

Can I block a file dat? The file .dat can be inviolable?
I don't want that nobody opens my file .dat. How can I get that? Is that possible?

You mean you want to make it so that the .dat files can't be corrupted or otherwise changed?

I find if it comes to that, just make a backup copy somewhere and restore if it gets corrupt.

For example. I made a Mod. But I don't want that nobody gets this mod and modify him. Somebody can get a mod made for other person and to modify it. Is there some way to prevent that? Is there some way of impeding that the content of the file DAT be extracted and edited?

Ah, so you are trying to make it so that the mod can not be edited and altered from when you release it?

I do not think it is possible, as the dat utilities are in a specific format. If someone did take your work and put it into another mod, then it would be publicly found out and we can execute them with a rusty spoon.

You're modding the game that's not yours and you using the free tools that good people provided. Believe me what's yours it's yours, no need to be overprotecting about it. If you don't want anyone to see it/use it, then PLEASE don't upload it... EVER!
