Fallout was a great series...
But what if Interplay had Fallout Tactics as Fallout 3,
what if the whole idea of Fallout 3 was too good to be true?!
NOooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
*wakes up from nightmare*
Ack.
Okay anyways..
They should make it mega real time first person action online multiplayer shooter.
haha
j/k
All they should do is have a 3d engine for it, so that your characters appearance can be easily customized
like 100% customizable colours (for clothing, red skin is just attrocitious looking as shown by FOT)
and Don't use the Tactics supermutant appearance...
Not to be olitically incorrect but in Tactics the supermutants looked plain retarded...
Graphics should be kept as close to Fallout 1 and 2 as possible..
But the engine needs to be revamped in terms of the fact that a 2d engine can only go so far...
a 3d engine welcomes moders openly, and it makes for more dynamics...
Infact I think if it came with a level editor that would be pretty cool... I mean, have a custom map option in the startup...
Nothing spectacular out of that, but just some ability for the players to customize the game...
After all interplay is supposedly "by gamers. For gamers"
But how can they possibly say BY GAMERS if the only part of their games we can really change is the weapons and critter properties and a few of the text files, but we can't even do that without downloading something not made by interplay..
Interplay - By themselves for their own profit!
But yeah, basically what I'm getting at is that if they do choose to make a Fallout 3, they should improve their reputation by making it a peoples game.. not a game for themselves...
Like between Fallout 1 and 2, they changed almost nothing, a few improvements on the engine, and many bugs added that made the game unplayable...
I think they should give us a new engine that is just the same to use, but one that offers more to the gamer, such as customization, 3d graphics, and better visual effects...
Rather than little orange clouds about a foot off the ground to represent explosions even if you nail someone in the chest with a rocket.
And another thing for Fallout 3
They should fire the staff that did Fallout Tactics.
