Can not get out of last compound prior to Cheyene.

I have read the the only other question dealing with this phenom and there does not seem to be an answer. I am stuck and though I have tried numbers of things to get out nothing works. In my case I have played the entire game with the same save game file. I have nothing to go back to.

In reviewing what I did I exchanged a winded squad member for Stitch. Prior to removing the member I droped all of his weapons and ammo on the ground and then had stitch pick them all up. The only problem is that I saved the game to keep from having to do all of that again.

Any ideas?

I suggest dropping the items in the inventory of a vehicle instead of on the ground. It is a pain in the ass to pick multiple items off of the ground. When you go into the inventory of a vehicle or locker, etc. it is easier to transfer items from inventory to inventory. Ammo, for example you can right click to transfer the whole ammount without screwing around.

Sorry, I rushed through the reading of the post. Yeah, it's a bug and you are screwed. No way to get out of that without reloading and seeing that you have only the one save.....
