It Wandered In From the Wastes
The title says it all. Can wasteland be considered a fallout game? or is it just what gave birth to fallout?

Discuss your thoughts 8-)

You mean, to what extent can Fallout be considered a Wasteland game, rather than merely a spiritual successor?
Meh. whatever :locked: i just wana see what people think :P

Wasteland is the spiritual predecessor to Fallout. That's all there is to it. It's not a Fallout game, because the setting elements are still different and, quite simply, it's not part of the series. At all.

Isn't "No Mutants Allowed" a quote from wasteland?
I havnt played wasteland yet :( I might get it off ebay But i have better things to spend my money on

Fallout was the Spiritual Successor to the Original Wasteland game.
Actually ,wasteland was the game that brought the idea of Fallout to the developers.the game was going to be a sequel to wasteland but it couldnt use the title since Electronic Arts held the rights to it.
Now InXile has acquired the rights to Wasteland and i wonder how they are going to make the game .

No it wasn't. Fallout started as a GURPS game, not as a Wasteland game.
