can you beat the game with intelligence of 1?

I figured I'd try something different so I've started playing Fallout 2 with a character with intelligence and charisma of 1. A handful of people will actually say a few things to me--plus Torr and I get on great--but for the most part nobody will have anything to do with me. Has anyone else attempted this?
 
Yeah, as long as your combat skills/stats are maxed out, you will be fine.

Yes, I did so the other day.

You can only do about 1 quest in each town, so you can play through the game relatively quickly. For example, in San Fransisco, all you have to do is infiltrate the navarro base and steel the vertibird plans, then the Brotherhood of Steel guy will fuel up the tanker and set the destination for you, and you can get to the oil rig. You don't have to mess with hubologists or the shi, although you can raise your intellegence by one if let the hubologists make you watch a video.

You should be extremely buff at the end of the game, since you will have to take on Frank by yourself.

Some of the quests seem buggy. After I beat the Khans, I couldn't talk to tandi, even though they told me I could. I guess the intellegence was to low to get past gunther, or whoever is in the tuxedo.

The dialogue throughout the game is pretty damn funny.
 
That actually sounds quite interesting. I think Im gonna put my current game on hold and try doing that for a while.
But dont the severe lack of skill points per level make it rather difficult?
 
Yes an intelligence of 1 sounds like big time fun ive had it 3 before but never 1 ...

Talkin bout all this Buff* Stuff in F2 there is a name trick you can use to get extra stuff from the den beckys i think ... make your name to Buffy ... she will give you some loot ( some* )

In F1 if you have a high or moderate INT you can get past the mutant harry that guards the pump in necropolis by taking drugs and lowering your INT harry considers you to stupid to be a threat and he lets you go right in ; ) He calls you a little girly if you play a female character

Plus the best part of using drugs to lower your INT before talking to the ( talking heads ) is they will shake there heads and act all funny and stuff ... you gots to lov this part of the game drugs aren't just for combat anymore there for talking to ppl and the more drugs i took the more radical the conversation got

In F2 you can also take jet and give it too the druggies in new reno not by trade but just click the jet on em ... you will have a horde of worshipers following you around wherever you go

Hmm how where you able to work the computers without cheeting ?
You may be Buff* and have a high STR and and lots of perks and stuff but you sure won't have alot of ( skill points ) to spread around during lvl up time

Might as well play a bad guy character with INT of 1 ... you gonna fight every one anyways right lol

But personally i don't think playing a character with an INT of 1 is a smart thing to do

Better carry alot of mentats with ya ... that is if you feel like talking
