Can you use 1.25 saves in 1.13?

Hi,

I played for a while in 1.13, then patched to 1.25. I was at the begining of the third mission and decided I wanted to go back to 1.13.

I went back to 1.13 to change some of the recruits stats and perks to match what I wanted instead of the bizarre choices they made. For one thing, most of the recruits have luck below 6 which cuts off several important perks. For another, I want someone who has steal and lockpick tagged, so I want to modify Rebecca.

Now, here's the problem. When I try to load one of my previous saves I get "BOS caused an invalid page fault in BOS." I get this as soon as I hit the load button. I don't even get to the load screen before it barfs.

If I'd known this was going to be a problem I would have kept 1.13. I had gone from 1.25 back to 1.13 after the first mission to check and everything was fine, so I'm at a loss to figure out what's going on. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. You knocked one of my brain cells loose. When I went back to 1.13 before I may not have had any of the recruits except for FS and Stitch. That would explain the difficulty.

So, maybe if I dropped them and then redid everything I could carry on? Of course, that would require patching, uninstalling and reinstalling. Sigh. At least I can experiement by using a very early save and see if I still bomb out. Thanks a lot.
