cant find the Solar Scorcher

First time out of the vault
first of all i want to say a big thank you to the dude that made the amazing fallout 2 add on.nice work

secondly i sadly cant find the Solar Scorcher .i already did all the quests for the doc and everytime i talk to him he says he doesnt need anything..i took myrion with me and talked about jet but still the same.any help please?
 
which add on are you talking about? also you should try and use the search button see if this topic has been raised before.

as far as the solar weapon goes...
it was removed from the portal to the vault 13 in certain mods.
RP and megamod to name a few. but just so you know both these mods have the solar scorcher at the epa. but how you get there and which mod you're using would help answer that
 
sure i am sorry i forgot that.i have the restoration project 1.2..i take myrion with me talk about jet but the doctor still wont say anything to me
plus yup it wasnt in vault 13 either(guardian)

then theres two ways to get to the epa. one is to find the barking man in the new reno. he is near the entrance of the city and is making text speech above his head. the other is to bump into a traveller that knows where it is.

or the stupid cheat way is to look up the walktrough
 
lol my freind i dont mean that i cant find EPA.i went already to EPA and did all quests and things
but
i didnt have myrion with me
now i came back with myrion so i can talk to the doctor to give me the Solar Scorcher but the doc wont give it to me.he just says the he doesnt need anything and stuff
btw sorry i am greek thats why i cant type good english
 
The walkthrough won't help you any except for getting to EPA. I haven't found the right dialogue choices to get the Solar Scorcher from the Doctor, even with Myron in my party this time. (v1.2) Tricky indeed!

Maybe killap will spill it eventually, or you just have to play like any other RPG and save to try every option of talk.

Me? I'll just save/reload my way to NCR so I can get that .223 Pistol. :)
