So I arrived in Modoc, did a quest or two and remembered the farm. Talked to Jo again and he simply won't give me the damn quest. Any ideas?

Allright, I found several similar threads. This blows, obviously I screwed up the first time I was talking to him and it cannot be fixed. I don't even have backup of the save, damnit

Editing save, how? The only save editors I am aware of are those that let you modify just the char and his stats.

How exactly did you screw up? My guide doesn't seem to mention anything like that so obviously it can't be! or can it
There's a utility called the savegame cracker that lets you edit global variables. I can't say at the moment which one you should look for, though.

Oh. I tried looking for an editor but couldn't find any.
Anyway, after few hours of depression I started over. Bleh.
I don't know how I screwed up. First time I talked with the dude he mentioned something about GECK being on my shoulder blabla you know the dialogue. After a bit of talk the conversation ended and when I returned to get the quest, I couldn't get it.
