Cant Save

Im playing the game just fine until i to New reno. The only thing i did there was box and now it says i cant save. I have the game patched and i tried starting a new character and it wont work. Ive also used unistalling and installing it again but still wont let me save. It says error cant save when i try to save and quick save. Need help badly.
I have a pentium 3 450, 96 ram, my sound card is a riptide pci and a rage pro turbo agp 2x.

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Sep-15-01 AT 11:18AM (GMT)[p]hey when yew uninstalled it did yew go and manually DELETE the saved games????????????????? if yew didnt thats prolly what yer prob. is........ or if its notthat problem what yew can do is(only if yew have a CD BURNER) put everything yew wanna keep on CDs and then REFORMAT yer puter ..... that will fix it for sure.... but i really dont think that problem is with yer puter.... but i could be wrong yew never kno
