Can't scroll in radscorpion cave with Fallout 1 res patch

I started replaying Fallout 1 this evening, and I installed the resolution patch (and the unofficial 1.3 patch). I got to Shady Sands and asked Seth to take me to the radscorpion cave. When I got there, I found that I can't scroll the screen. Can you give me any tips? I am running at 1680x1050 resolution.

Try scrolling diagonal, that is point the cursor at one of the corners, in this case the the upper right corner I think. I've noticed this when entering the odd map but have always been able to escape.
